Sergei Petrik 

Sergei Petrik was born on September 13, 1954 in Poltava, Ukraine, and now resides in Moscow.   He studied sculpture, graphics, and composition with Volodnoi and other Russian artists.  From 1972 to 1973, Sergei studied art and graphics at at the Abramzevski industrial arts institute. After serving in the Soviet army,  and continued art studies in Moscow, Sergei held numerous positions as an artist and graphic designer and illustrator, and later as the lead sculptor at an art cooperative.

Since the early 1990's, Sergei has been focusing on his own painting, and on art instruction at the Moscow Center for Young Artists.  His works reside in private collections in Russian, Germany, France, Lebanon, and the U.S.
