Vladimir Vitkovsky

Vladimir Vitkovsky was born in St. Petersburg, Russia.  In 1989 he emigrated from the Soviet Union, and his art began to receive international recognition.  He is the 1992 first place prizewinner at the Boston Copley Association of Artists. He receieved the Gold Medal in Sweden at the International Art Competition in 1995, and  honorable mentions at the 1994, 1995 and 1996 juried group exhibitions in Europe.

Mr. Vitkovsky works in many innovative medias and genres, including oil, pastel, ink, paper collage, and metal sculpture. His graphic works are delicate and dream-like - collages of mysterious faces, enigmatic smiles and imaginative figures.

Vladimir's works have been featured in countless group and solo exhibitions, and reside in private collections worldwide. His patrons include the  Reverend Aloysius Ambrozic, Archbishop of Toronto and The Dupont family.
