Asker Askerov

Asker Askerov was born in Baku, Azergadjan in 1948.  He graduated from the Azerbadjan Art Institute, and later from the Aliev Institute of the Arts. 

Since 1973, Askerov's works have been featured in exhibitions in Russia and Azherbadjan.  With the fall of the Soviet empire, Askerov's works gained reconition in Europe.  Today, his works are on display in exhibitions and in private collections in the U.S., France, the U.K., and Turkey.
